Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Transplant Hepatologist

The Division of Transplantation and Hepatobiliary Diseases at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center (LHMC) is currently seeking a full-time Transplant Hepatologist.

About the position :

The Senior Transplant Hepatologist will spend most of their time managing general hepatology and transplant hepatology patient populations in the outpatient setting with additional clinical responsibilities on the hepatology inpatient services.

Qualifications :

  • Interested candidates should have clinical transplant hepatology experience with a strong desire to participate in the clinical, research and teaching (medical students/resident physician and fellows) efforts of the division.

  • Candidates should possess superb clinical skills and a demonstrated ability to engage and interact effectively with patients and their families, medical, nursing and multidisciplinary staff. Work ethic, flexibility and strong organizational skills are required to effectively manage high quality and safe care in our fast-paced environment.

  • The candidate must be board certified in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, with liver transplant experience. The candidate must possess superior clinical, teaching and interpersonal skills with research interests and a commitment to an academic career.

About BI Lahey Health:

Lahey Hospital & Medical Center is an academic affiliate of UMass Chan School of Medicine which allows for opportunities for residents and fellow education and clinical research.

The Lahey integrated delivery system consists of over 1200 clinicians providing care throughout Beth Israel Lahey Health’s network of acute, ambulatory center physician practice sites, behavioral health, long-term care facilities, home health organizations and care management programs.
