Robert Half Senior Payroll Specialist in Burlington, Massachusetts

Description

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Senior Payroll Specialist in Lexington, Massachusetts. As a Senior Payroll Specialist, you will be working in the financial services industry, focusing on maintaining and improving payroll processes. This role requires the use of various tools and software such as ADP Workforce Now, ATS and Workday HRIS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the payroll process for over 500 employees

• Utilize ADP Workforce Now and ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode for efficient payroll management

• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy in payroll and accounting functions

• Handle 401k - RRSP Administration and other benefit functions

• Implement continuous process improvement strategies in the payroll department

• Process biweekly payroll and reconcile payroll discrepancies

• Oversee the administration of commissions and Canadian Payroll

• Implement Workday and Workday HRIS for efficient HR and payroll functions

• Carry out business process improvement tasks in the payroll department

• Manage multi-state payroll ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.

Requirements • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now

• Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode

• Experience with 401k - RRSP Administration

• Proficiency in Accounting Functions

• Familiarity with Auditing practices

• Experience in Benefit Functions

• Knowledge of Canadian Payroll

• Expertise in Workday and Workday HRIS

• Proven ability in Implementation

• Experience in Business process improvement

• Proficiency in Continuous Process Improvement

• Experience in handling Commissions

• Knowledge in Multi-state Payroll

• Experience in Payroll for over 500 Employees

• Ability to Process Biweekly Payroll

• Experience in Reconciling Payroll
