About the Job

Position Summary: Provide revenue coordination and analysis to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center Invasive Cardiology departments. Act as the primary coordinator and liaison to the revenue cycle department by reviewing and overseeing department charges for supplies, inventory reconciliation, case documentation, and posting of case charges. Assist department leadership by performing various documentation audits, monitoring unposted log cues, collecting procedure volume data and presenting monthly volume reports, and participating in department-based product review.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Collaborating with team leads to ensure supply charges are completed appropriately for each patient case by reconciling documented supplies versus decremented inventory

  • Reviewing patient documentation for supply charge accuracy based on case type

  • In conjunction with the professional coding department, review any procedure logs that are in a held status and correct any discrepancies to allow for charges to be released.

  • Collaborate with supply chain in the ordering and stocking of new inventory in the Cath Lab, EP Lap, and ICHU

  • Assist revenue cycle in reconciling any documentation discrepancies impacting charges

  • Assist the departments in case volume tracking, volume trends, and schedule optimization

    Minimum Qualifications :

  • Skilled in Microsoft office products

  • Ability to synthesize information and present to department leadership

  • Excellent analytical, organization, and project management skills

  • High school graduate

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Healthcare background and knowledge of terminology

  • EPIC experience strongly preferred

  • Inventory Management experience preferred

    Keep informed of volume, charge issues, and any pertinent trends

  • Nurse Manager of Invasive Cardiology

    Work to reconcile any charge issues and address outstanding documentation

    Collaborate on inventory management, supply review for charges, and value analysis

  • Tertiary Team leaders

    Collaborate on new initiatives, new products, billing review, and supply inventory reconciliation
