Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical ICU Day/Night Rotation

Lahey Hospital and Medical Center is now offering up to a $5,000.00 in signing bonuses for our Critical Care RN positions. Critical Care RN position must be licensed with at least one (1) year of RN experience to be eligible for the signing bonus.

Important Details: • Signing Bonuses are paid out in three payments. You will receive your first payment (one third of the total amount) upon completion of the first 30 days of employment. You will receive the second payment upon completion of six (6) months and the third payment (final of the total amount) owe upon completion of one year following your start date. The bonus payments will be paid on the next regular pay day following the date on which you become eligible for the bonus. All payments are subject to applicable taxes. • Full time status at LHMC is considered for the schedules greater than or equal to 30 hours per week; part-time is 20-29 hours per week. Roles less than Full-Time will be prorated. Please note, per diem employees are not eligible for the signing bonus.

To be eligible:

• Current and former BILH candidates - restrictions apply. Employees within the BILH system are not eligible for the bonus or if you have been employed by a BILH entity within the last 12-months.

• If you leave Lahey Hospital & Medical Center before your first anniversary you will pay back the signing bonus. • Please note, signing bonuses are subject to change based on the organizations hiring needs and will be determined by Talent Acquisition on an ongoing basis. BILH/LHMC Talent Acquisition reserves the right to change signing bonus eligible jobs and amounts at any time.

Job Description:

Sign-on Bonus of $5,000.00 available for experienced RN's (1 + years of experience required)

Lahey believes that the nurse-patient relationship, continuity of care and personal accountability are central to the delivery of individualized high quality patient care.

As Lahey continues to grow, we are seeking experienced and qualified nurses for our Critical Care Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). The MICU is a 12-bed acute care area. Highly trained nurses care primarily for medical patients requiring ventilatory support and ECG monitoring. Additionally, patients may require hemodynamic monitoring, intracranial pressure monitoring, and/or CVVH. The MICU patient population also includes patients receiving TPA for stroke and patients with hepatic-renal failure. Working together with the pulmonary team, nurses maintain extensive critical care skills and provide a supportive atmosphere for each other, the patients, and the patients' families.

Patient population ranges from young adult to geriatric. Services required may include but are not limited to: Pulmonary/Critical Care, Cardiac, Neurology, Infectious Disease, GI/Liver transplant, Nephrology, Hematology

Qualifications:

  • BSN preferred

  • Valid RN MA License

  • American Heart Association BLS, ACLS strongly preferred

  • Critical Care experience strongly preferred
