Job Description:

The ICHU (Invasive Cardiology Holding Unit)/Cardiovascular Recovery area is an 18 bed pre/post area for patients undergoing Cardiac Cath and EP (Electrophysiology) Procedures. TEEs, Cardioversions and DSEs are also performed in this area. Cardiovascular peri-procedure care experience preferred. Moderate Sedation Experience preferred. As we continue to grow, we are seeking experienced and qualified nurses to join our interdisciplinary teams. At Lahey Hospital & Medical Center we utilize complete computerized charting (EPIC) for patient assessment and care documentation, and to electronically record medication administration for the delivery of all medications provided to their patients. Computerized self-scheduling is available. Along with excellent critical thinking skills, a desire to exceed patient expectations and good interpersonal skills, we require:

  • State of Massachusetts RN licensure (or eligibility)

  • BSN preferred

  • At least one year of CRITICAL CARE nursing experience ACLS certification
