About the Job
Our nursing float pool supplements staffing throughout the Medical Center based on need. Nurses who work at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center Float Pool can float between multiple areas:
Medical & Surgical, Telemetry and Progressive Cardiac Care Units
Medical & Surgical, Telemetry and Progressive Neuro Unit
Medical & Surgical Unit
Urology and Colorectal Surgical Unit
Ortho NeuroSurgery Trauma Unit
Medical/Surgical Telemetry Unit
24 hours in a 4 week schedule, 16 hours need to be weekend (Saturday or Sunday).
Minimum requirements 1000 hours.

Acute care medical-surgical experienceEducation: Graduate of a state approved and/or accredited School of Nursing. BSN preferred
All RNs will be required to have their BSN Degree by 12/2020
Licensure, Certification, Registration:- Current license to practice professional nursing from the Massachusetts Board of Registration- BLS certification with American Heart AssociationSkills, Knowledge & Abilities: Clinical Skills/Technical Knowledgea.
