Job Description:
The Electrophysiology Registered Nurse role is now eligible for a $10,000 sign on bonus.
Important Details: Bonuses are paid out in 3 payments: $3,333.33 at 30 days of hire, $3,333.33 at 6 Months of Hire, and $3,333.33 at 1-Year of Hire. To be eligible, you must be a non-BILH employee or a previous eligible employee who returns to BILH after 1 year. Any part-time positions will be pro-rated based off the full-time bonus amount. Employee must be in good standing to receive the bonus at the time of payment. Per Diem roles are not eligible. All bonuses are subject to applicable taxes. If you leave Lahey Health & Medical Center before your first anniversary you will pay back the sign-on bonus to Lahey Health & Medical Center. This program is subject to change at any point.
The Lahey Burlington Electrophysiology lab is an extremely busy lab. We average from 140-170 patients a month. The volume is growing and we are looking at expanding.
We are looking for someone with Critical care experience, ACLS trained and that is hard working and able to be a team player. The EP lab is extremely busy and very innovational which makes the lab an exciting ever learning environment. We have a very close, passionate, hardworking team that doesn't leave until the job is done and the patients care has been completed. This job is not for the faint hearted and 100% commitment is expected from the successful candidate.
1 year of Critical Care experience required
Responsibilities include but are not exclusive to;
Excellent rhythm recognition skills.
Moderate sedation of a patient (airway management).
Supporting anesthesia for GA cases.
Maintaining patient safety during all types of EP procedures.
Learning the technical role: set up, connectology and troubleshooting for all the different mapping, recording and ablation equipment/consoles .
Learning Pacemaker and ICD programing and device trouble shooting.
Work closely with the pre and post area to ensure the patients care is seamless
Document care in the EMR (EPIC experience a plus)
Qualifications:
Valid MA Registered Nurse License Required
BSN Required
Critical Care Experience Strongly Preferred
BLS Required and ACLS Preferred
Willingness to embrace change
1 year of Critical Care experience required
Shifts: 3 month orientation with a preceptor
1 weekend in 6 for on call (8-12pm Sat/Sun)
40 hours Days Monday-Friday. On call every 1:6 weekends, no week night call.
