Lahey Hospital & Medical Center Peri-Operative Nurse Residency Program
If you have always wanted to be an Operating Room Nurse, but have not been able to find a position due to lack of OR experience, we have the solution. Lahey Health Systems is offering a nine month AORN Peri-Operative Nurse Residency Program–we will train you to become an Operating Room Nurse if you are willing to commit to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center!
Our Operating Room is a Level 1Trauma Center with 23 OR’s. We utilize cutting edge technology within multiple surgical specialties in our 22 ORs. Our surgical specialties include Cardiothoracic, Neurosurgery, Orthopedic, Urology, and Robotics along with the largest live donor liver transplant program in the U.S.

The hours for the first 3 months are 6:30am to 3:00pm Monday through Friday. You will be assigned a shift after the first 3 months it will become 40 Hours, 4 Ten Hour Shifts with rotation
Weekend, weekday and holiday call/work rotation required
Interviews will take place the week November 11, 2020
Start Date for this Periop Training Program is January 4, 2021
Must have a current license to practice professional nursing in MA
Must have a current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
