We are looking for a compassionate, caring, board certified / board eligible Surgical Critical Care specialist to join our team! The position would entail a split between ICU coverage and the practice of General Surgery. Our ICU is a combined unit caring for surgical and medical patients. Ideal candidates will be comfortable with the entire spectrum of critical care, as well as routine general surgical procedures, including benign ano-rectal disease such as hemorrhoidectomies. Experience in minimally invasive surgery is desirable. This is a full time position with the expectation of helping to build a multi-disciplinary ICU team of surgeons, pulmonologists and anesthesiologists, as well as creating a surgical Step Down unit. Opportunities exist to participate in surgery resident and PA education.
