Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for their Assistant Clinical Nutrition Manager position at Good Samaritan Medical Center located in Brockton, MA . This position will assist the Clinical Nutrition Manager with managerial duties as well as provide direct patient care. This is a great opportunity for an RD who has an interest in learning management and growing with the company. Good Samaritan Medical Center is a 240 bed hospital located just 20 miles south of Boston.
$3,000 SIGN ON BONUS
The successful candidate will:
provide inpatient nutritional care, primarily in orthopedics and telemetry;
assist the CNM with managerial duties such as developing and implementing nutrition initiatives and maintaining regulatory standards;
work a rotating weekend schedule (1x/month) providing hospital wide clinical coverage;
be highly involved in quality improvement initiatives within the clinical nutrition department;
assist with patient satisfaction initiatives, such as meal rounds, test trays, and in-services; and
work collaboratively with the Food and Nutrition management team.

Registered Dietitian credentials and be licensed in MA;

Functions as the in-unit lead Clinical leader for a small - medium account. Manages the daily operations of nutrition services through direct supervision of both non-exempt employees and entry-level exempt professional employees.
- Directs daily operations of nutrition programs and ensure customer and client satisfaction levels are met.
-May provide direct nutrition care to population served
-Executes operating standards, implements quality improvements and communicates them to other departments; and collects and reports outcomes.
-Maintains and develops client relationships and client satisfaction for nutrition services and promotes nutrition services.
-. - Manages employees to ensure they meet goals, cost controls deadlines, and collect outcomes.
-Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations as well as Sodexo/client policies and procedures (e.g. Health Dept., HIPAA/Privacy Act, Joint Commission, quality assurance, safety, operations, and personnel).
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + Meets eligibility requirements for certification as a Registered Dietitian
