This premiere skilled nursing facility is looking for a Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team.
Core Job Responsibilities
Completes patient care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing and staff; following up on work results
Establishes a positive work environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families.
Provides information to patients and health care team by answering questions and requests
Provides staff education & development for new hires and on-going Competencies
Ensures complete and prompt reporting on incidents with follow up as necessary
Ensures that significant changes in residents' condition are communicated to the physician, family or responsible party
Assist with tracking & administration of staff and resident immunizations
Key Educational/Professional Requirements
Currently licensed as an RN in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts;
Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
2-4 years of experience in nurse leadership in a long-term care setting.
Knowledge of state and federal regulations
