Under the general supervision of the Unit Manager or designee, participates as a member of the mental health team on a resident Mental Health Unit. Provides direct resident care including treatment planning, implementing plans, evaluating treatment, discharge planning, and other duties as assigned.
Position requires working with neurologically impaired, Brain Injured Residents, in redeveloping life skills.
Residents have the potential to be impulsive, behavioral, aggressive, lack safety awareness, lack boundaries, as well as emotionally labile.
Even temperament, and patience a must.
The Ideal candidate will have college Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field or matching experience with behaviorally challenged residents.
Candidate must have ability to work independently, while implementing plan of care established by the team, guided by well established behavioral concepts
Candidate must be reliable, and dependable
