TCU Clinical Supervisor
*TCU Clinical Supervisor *– Full Time 40 hours 7:00am - 3:00pm
Provide an ongoing clinical resource for Rehab staff in the TCU.
This individual is responsible for 70% direct patient care as well as 30% clinical coordination and pertinent program development.
Delegates appropriate duties to other therapists and support personnel within the department.
Attends and reports at treating team conferences, family team conferences.
Coordinates / assists with clinics (e.g. seating, prosthetics) as appropriate.
Completes documentation (e.g. initial evaluation, daily notes, weekly progress notes, discharge summaries) on a timely basis.
Seeks to provide or enhance staff, patient and family education through continuing education courses/seminars and review of current relevant literature.
Degree in Physical or Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.
Current licensure by the Board of Allied Health Professionals, Commonwealth of Mass or application of the same.
Certification in BLS of Adult, Child and Infant.
Experience with sub‐acute level of care; including knowledge and understanding of RUG levels, Rehab Optima (or similar), and pertinent reimbursement guidelines.
Demonstrates pursuit on continuing education courses relative to the field of Physical or Occupational Therapy.
