This Supervisor, Physician Billing Operations – Shared Service Center will be responsible for:
Supervising the day-to-day activities within the Physician’s Organization (“PO”) professional billing and collection functions as it relates to multiple functions and/or areas.
Ensuring prompt, accurate and timely billing and collections, as well as related resolutions.
Maintaining productive external and internal relationships essential to the efficiency of the physician billing process.
Tracking and monitoring the daily progress of each individual within assigned areas and provides feedback and training, as necessary.
To qualify, you must have:
A High School diploma or equivalent required and five to six years of related physician or hospital billing work experience.
One to two years of prior experience in a progressively responsible position with prior direct report responsibility or oversight within a physician or hospital billing office.
Demonstrated analytical skills to resolve complex problems requiring the use of scientific, mathematical, or technical principles and in depth, experienced based cross functional knowledge.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to effectively deal with conflicting views and issues and mediate fair solutions.
The ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems and situations quickly and effectively.
Experience working with diverse internal and external constituencies.
Strong knowledge of overall physician billings operations related to healthcare.
