OVERNIGHT POSITION: Saturdays 10:30pm - 7am
The Sonographer will be responsible for:
Performs routine ultrasound examinations as prescribed by a physician.
Reviews and evaluates requisitions for ultrasound imaging procedures, abstracting data from patient charts and determining appropriateness of procedure prescribed given diagnosis and clinical signs for routine examinations.
Selects appropriate equipment and technical factors to identify pathologic and normal anatomy.
Assesses patients' and parents' physical and emotional status and ability to respond to instructions and develops plan for adjusting to patients' specific needs.
Follows QC/Data Integrity Workflow process.
Practices High Reliability Communication techniques.
To qualify, you must have:
Eligible for certification by the ARDMS.
Must meet, successfully complete, and maintain the ARDMS certification and registration within one year of hire date.
BLS certification
Associates degree
