System One Senior Nurse Practitioner in Boston, Massachusetts

Our company is seeking a Senior Nurse Practitioner to join our client. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a scenic and serene environment, surrounded by stunning natural beauty.

Senior Nurse Practitioner Overview:

  • Diagnose, treat and medically manage work-related injuries and illnesses for employees.

  • Collaborate with on-site medical, nursing and workers' compensation personnel, management and outside providers concerning work-related injury case management, return to work and fitness for duty concerns.

  • Perform routine medical surveillance physical examination and case review for a variety of programs, i.e., exposures from asbestos, heavy metals, various environmental toxins and noise; DOT; fire brigade and other programs.

  • Supervise the clinical staff.

  • Works within current nurse practice act of the State of Maine.

  • Minimal on-call required.

  • No holidays or weekends.

  • 4x10 weekday work schedule.

    Senior Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities:

  • Master's degree in nursing required.

  • Certified nurse practitioner required.

  • Current State of Maine APN license required or willing to obtain upon offer

    Senior Nurse Practitioner Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a nurse practitioner in either family or adult practice required, occupational experience preferred.

  • Managerial experience required.

  • BLS certification required or willing to obtain , ACLS certification preferred

  • Occupational health experience is highly desirable.

  • Must be able to maneuver through the Shipyard.

  • Must be able to participate in Sea Trials.

    Location: Bath, ME
