Yours included.The Temporary Resource Specialist will be responsible for:Assisting in accessing aftercare for psychiatric inpatients in accordance with treatment and/or discharge plan formulated by clinical care team. Assisting with screening admission to the inpatient unit by checking the intake phone line 2 -3 times daily and coordinating admission notification. Updating electronic documents that support quality initiativesCreating EPIC pre-admission and assist with medical clearance by calling the on-call psychiatry pediatrician to medically clear patients for admission.To qualify, you must have:The level of knowledge typically acquired through completion of two years of occupational‑specific education or an Associate's degree in Human Services or related field and two to three years of previous experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred.The analytical skills to resolve problems that require the use of basic scientific, mathematical, or technical principles.The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.Competency with MS WordFluency in Spanish is a plus.Boston Children’s Hospital is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer.
