Candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the research laboratory under the direction of the principal investigator. Duties include managing all the procedures including performing specialized histological, histochemical and neurochemical procedures, tissue preparation for neurochemical analysis, microtomy, staining and preparation of specimens for light microscopy and immunohistochemistry. He/She will assist with maintaining animal colonies, genotyping transgenic mice, surgical procedures, behavior tests and monitoring all animal experiments and therapeutic trials. He/ She will perform data collection and computerized image analysis. He/She will coordinate work with collaborators distributing tissue samples and performing assays. They will prepare manuscripts. They e will contribute to grant writing.
PHD degree in research field, 5 to 8 years working experiences, advance writing, and communication skills.
Ability to work on his/her own, while following PI instructions.
Experiences in writing grants, publishing manuscripts and posters.
