You are:While most people have no idea what you do or how you do it, you know exactlywhat it takes to collaborate, ideate and provide technical guidance to help bringyour clients’ digital products to life. And they rely heavily on your skills andexpertise as you translate the creative vision into web based technicalimplementations and integrate with back end technologies. The work:• Provide technical leadership on enterprise scale front-end web applicationprojects while concurrently overseeing other development teams on multipleprojects; possibly across different offices and geographies• Strong attention to technical detail and an understanding of UX and visualdesign concepts to provide perspective on front end technologies and theiroverall impact on the creative process• Oversee and participate in design, architecture, documentation,development, debugging, and deployment efforts while addressing cross-browser and cross-platform concepts and concerns• Create project estimates, define scope requirements, structure projects,develop coding standards, methodology and repeatable processes• Create and distribute reusable sales and delivery content to internal andexternal design, business, sales, technical counterparts, and leadership tohone their knowledge of front-end development• Identify opportunities for research and development in the area of focus, andbuild innovative prototypes that demonstrate our industry leadership• Apply strong business and client facing abilities to support businessdevelopment opportunities and build long-term relationships in addition tomanaging project delivery• Mentor developers both from technical and career path perspectives• Be a thought leader in progression and evolution of the front-enddevelopment craft
Here’s what you’ll need:• 5+ years of leading projects and development teams in the Agile/Scrummethodology including creation of project estimates, defining scoperequirements, and structuring projects• 7+ years of experience with front-end technologies such as semantic HTML5,CSS Preprocessors (LESS & Sass), UI frameworks (Bootstrap, Foundation),JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React), consumption of RESTful web APIs,task runners (Gulp), bundlers (Webpack), linting & unit testing (Jasmine,Mocha + Chai or Karma, etc.)Bonus points if:• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience• You have experience working at an advertising/design/consulting agency orweb startup• You’ve led development teams across geographies• You possess broad full stack architectural expertise in order to seamlesslyintegrate front end technology into the overall technical solution• You’re able to solve complex development problems while striving to pushthe technical boundaries of online applications• You are process-oriented with ability to define and ensure quality delivery ofthe development team
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
