Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician in the specialty pharmacy to excel in a complex, high impact customer service role and positively impact the lives of others. Responsible for routing questionable prescriptions t the pharmacist for completion, making outbound calls/faxing physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions and formulary changes. Additional responsibilities include resolving and entering incomplete prescriptions after clarification is obtained including functions not limited to production, shipping orders, refill reminders, inventory control, customer service, register work. The ideal candidate will possess high levels of reliability, accuracy, professionalism, customer focus, team orientation and problem solving abilities.

Guaranteed 40 hours per week, with NO SUNDAYS and NO HOLIDAYS. We are only open 8am - 6pm Monday - Friday, and 9am - 2pm on Saturday.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have an active Massachusetts State Pharmacy Technician License

Preferred Qualifications

  • Nationally Certified as a Pharmacy Technician

Education

  • Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
