This Patient Experience Representative (10 Northwest Inpatient Ortho / Surgery) will be responsible for:
Interfacing with patients/families and staff to triage requests for information and services.
Organizing medical records, information, materials and supplies.
Serving as liaison to resolve equipment, supply, cleaning and safety issues.
Accessing hospital and department systems to enter and retrieve information.
Monitoring daily operations and communicating with clinicians and/or supervisor to maintain efficient patient/visitor flow.
Responding to requests for information and assistance, and providing general office support as required.
Providing positive and effective customer service and contributing to teamwork within and between departments.
Performing various administrative functions to support the operations of Surgical Services.
To qualify, you must have:
A high school level education. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
0-1 year of previous work experience.
The ability to interpret data and take appropriate action.
Excellent verbal & written communication, interpersonal, and analytic skills.
Schedule: Per-diem coverage (Weekdays- Evening Shift) - 1:00PM - 11:00PM - ideal shift.
Please note: During a public health emergency, individuals in this role may be expected to take on additional duties to respond to organizational needs.
