PER Positions are currently eligible for a Sign-on Bonus of $2,000 for full time positions (prorated for part-time positions)

Schedule : Monday-Friday (8:00AM-4:30PM) – hybrid work schedule can be offered once candidate is up-to-speed.

This Patient Experience Representative (Developmental Medicine) will be responsible for:

  • Providing positive and effective customer service that supports departmental and hospital operations.

  • Scheduling patient encounters and procedures.

  • Scheduling of all visits. Returning patients and all new patients after triage completed.

  • Scanning schedule twice a week to make sure schedules are done correctly for each provider and to watch for any unknown cancellations. Filling open spaces in last minute open spaces.

  • Communicating with referring providers and practices to facilitate management of complex patient issues. Greeting and directing patients, families and visitors.

  • Providing oversight of clinic schedule and patient flow to optimize resource utilization and patient experience. Communicating with clinicians and/or supervisor and routing patients/visitors to maintain efficient patient/visitor flow.

  • Gathering all collected medical information for upcoming return patients and sharing with providers. PCP, outside specialists, labs and diagnostic reports, intake forms, and any pertinent scales, IEPs, progress reports, outside testing, IFSP, etc.

  • Disseminating materials to medical providers and medical records. ​

  • Assisting providers in clinic including letter writing, completion of forms, and other patient related administrative needs. ​

    To qualify, you must have:

  • A high school level of educational development and preferred experience such as customer service, administrative, or experience in a health care setting. Bachelor's Degree preferred.

  • The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
