Job Title: Maintenance Technician III

Job Summary:

Responsible for performing tasks that may be assigned in the most efficient and workmanlike manner commensurate with his/her training and capabilities in the best interest of the Company to serve its customers. Perform other functions assigned, maintaining the quality and quantity of his/her work up to acceptable Company standards and in accordance with established policies. Responsibilities for representing the Company to the customer and the general public in a manner that promotes good relationships.

Organizational Relationships

Reports to the Lead Maintenance Technician or MT-2.

Responsible to lead tradesperson when assigned to him/her for specific tasks.

Cooperate with and assist others in a common effort to promote good will and company growth.

Perform additional duties as requested by the Lead Maintenance Technician.

Specific Responsibilities

Start up and secure all equipment in designated buildings as requested by his/her supervisor.

Assist with the structural trades.

Answer trouble calls as required.

Complete assigned preventative maintenance work.

Assist the Lead Maintenance Technician or any licensed tradesperson as required

Complete all records and log sheets as required.

Assist in all energy conversation projects.

Submit as required mechanic’s reports for all work done.

Assure high work standards as a BTE representative.

Respond to emergencies at any time.

Qualifications / Requirements

Minimum of 2 years experience in commercial office building operations and maintenance.

High school diploma or equivalent with technical school certification.

Good general maintenance skills in carpentry, painting, locksmithing, etc.

Proven knowledge of technical terms used in HVAC, plumbing and/or electrical.

Strong knowledge of building trade tools and equipment.

Good verbal communication skills and customer service skills
