Keeping track of and ordering lab supplies and scheduling lab related maintenance, managing lab purchases, lab safety coordinator, serving as point of contact for the lab, and resolving any other issues in the lab that arise. Onboarding (setting up training, clearance, ID access, etc.) for new members of the lab and training them on wet lab/animal/computational skills when necessary. Performing wet lab (e.g. PCR/qPCR, RNA/DNA isolation, immunohistochemistry) and assisting in animal experiments (e.g. behavioral assays, injections, surgeries, dissections) for various projects. Conducting data analysis (statistics, bioinformatics) and results for publication. Presenting papers and data at lab meetings and for collaborators. Assisting with manuscript writing and organization.
Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of experience required.
