Lab Assistant/Phlebotomist, Full Time, Day Shift 10am-6:00pm

Job Description:

Job Summary:

Draws blood from patients and collects specimens for COVID-19 testing.

Principal Duties and Essential Functions:

• Performs phlebotomy procedures

• Performs appropriate specimen collection on all preoperative patients to test for COVID-19

• Registers samples and orders tests

• Schedules patients for testing

• Logs and replaces supplies as appropriate

Requires:

High School Degree or equivalent

Certification in Phlebotomy is preferred, willing to train

FLSA Status:

Non-Exempt
