Yours included.This Healthcare Financial Data Analyst will be responsible for:Supporting and maintaining patient and financial data for the Decision Support and Cost Accounting System, including data quality assurance.Assisting with the development and maintenance of the costing statistics and cost data with hospital wide departments which serve as the foundation for the hospital’s cost management and patient- based profitability reporting.Developing and preparing standard monthly and ad hoc reporting/analysis for management decisions.Advancing financial and healthcare analytics using data visualization tools.Performing detailed analyses of various patient care and financial data for decision support and the cost accounting System for the hospitals, including information used for quality assurance to interpreting trends or deviations and making recommendations.To qualify, you must have:The knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts typically acquired through the completion of a Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting or finance or a closely related field and two years of previous related experience.The analytical skills to collect information from diverse sources, apply professional principles in performing various analyses, and summarize the information and data in order to solve problems.The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.Boston Children’s Hospital offers competitive compensation and unmatched benefits, including an affordable health, vision and dental insurance, generous levels of time off, 403(b) Retirement Savings plan, Pension, Tuition Reimbursement, and discounted rates on T-passes (50% off).
