The Frontline Supervisor will be responsible for:

  • Supervising and leading work of support staff, overseeing the clinical administrative support services for the Cardiology Clinic. Planning, prioritizing and delegating work assignments and monitoring performance, providing feedback and guidance as needed. Recommending, implementing and maintaining interoffice systems/policies and procedures; assisting in development of administrative policies and procedures. Training and orienting new personnel and communicating changes in hospital and departmental policies and procedures

  • Monitoring clinic activity to ensure the best possible patient experience. Assisting staff with resolving customer service and scheduling issues. Responding to patient concerns and needs offering the best possible options and resolutions. Responding to situations requiring escalated service response

  • Monitoring and maintaining department record keeping systems, including highly sensitive/critical administrative and financial data and employee information. Overseeing input of information into computer databases and spreadsheets, monitoring data validity. Serving as a Super User for clinical floor and participates in Joint Commission/Environment of Care preparations and rounds

  • Collecting and compiling data from diverse sources, creating spreadsheets/reports, preparing analyses for supervisor’s review and performs other related duties as assigned

  • Organizing and maintaining daily administrative operations of department. Preparing, verifying and monitoring departmental payroll and related records. Preparing periodic reports and documents com comply with hospital, governmental, regulatory and/or funding agency requirements, according to established schedules. Monitoring employee review dates, terminations and other personnel actions and initiating required forms and documents

  • Monitoring and maintaining department supply inventory. Purchasing standard departmental supplies and equipment repair services. Evaluating and recommending purchase of equipment or non-routine supplies. Serving as a liaison to support service departments to request and coordinate provision of needed services

To qualify, you must have:

  • Work requires the level of knowledge typically acquired through two years of occupational specific-education or an Associate’s degree in business or a closely related field and three to four years of previous experience

  • Analytical skills to resolve problems that require the use of basic scientific, mathematical or technical principles

  • The ability to communicate both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations
