Robert Half's marketing & creative client is looking for a freelance Presentation Designer for an ongoing contract in the Greater Boston area. This is a remote, project-based role, with workload fluctuating depending on project demand. The hours will flex as needed, with the potential to ramp up over time in alignment with increased project volume. This addition to the design team comes in response to a significant influx of presentation work this year as well as an ongoing brand audit and potential brand refresh. These developments will likely require an increase in creative support across various projects. The selected candidates will work alongside two internal presentation designers to deliver high-caliber design solutions that support key organizational goals. Interested candidate should provide a portfolio of relevant presentation design samples in addition to resume.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and deliver high-quality presentation decks that effectively communicate strategic goals and brand messaging.

• Ensure presentation content is visually appealing, audience-appropriate, and aligned with existing or refreshed brand guidelines.

• Edit and refine presentation materials for clarity, precision, and overall coherence.

• Manage deadlines and deliverables to ensure timely completion of projects for executive meetings and events.

• Stay informed on current best practices in presentation design, marketing communication, and visual storytelling.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience designing executive-level presentations, preferably in a corporate, agency, or consulting environment

• A strong portfolio demonstrating advanced presentation design capabilities

• Experience designing in PowerPoint, Keynote, Figma, or other presentation design tools

• Experience using design software such as Adobe Creative Suite to enhance presentation visuals

• Solid understanding of typography, color theory, layout design, and visual storytelling principles

• Ability to translate complex ideas, data, and messaging into visually compelling slides

• Experience designing for different types of audiences, such as C-suite executives, sales teams, and external clients

• Familiarity with creating infographics, charts, and data visualizations tailored to a presentation format

• Knowledge of video embedding and basic multimedia editing for presentations

• Detail-oriented

• Excellent communication and presentation skills
