We are seeking Medical Technicians to work in our Diagnostic Department at our Boston office. We provide the training!

The Diagnostic Technician will perform specialized diagnostic testing as determined by Ophthalmologist, act as administrative support for Diagnostic portion of Ophthalmological studies and will assist the patients in a timely and efficient manner.

The Diagnostic Technician may be responsible for performing one or more of the following diagnostic tests as directed by MD:

  • OCT

  • Humphrey Visual Fields

  • Topography

  • IOL Master and Ascan

Education and Experience:

  • Must be highly organized with the ability to multitask

  • High school diploma, college experience/degree preferred

  • Photography experience a plus

  • A desire to learn diagnostic skills and machinery

  • Great people skills

Typical Physical Demands:

Requires prolonged standing, walking, some bending, stooping and stretching. Requires excellent communication skills and a keen understanding of patients with sensory impairment. Must be able to express a caring attitude while performing the tasks required with accuracy and efficiency. Requires normal range of hearing and eye sight to perform necessary testing and reporting of findings.
