The role of a Cloud Consulting Senior Project Advisor requires an aspiring project management professional with strong business acumen, technical competency in SaaS-based software and leadership skills for successful delivery of Oracle SAAS solutions (software + services).

The Cloud Consulting Senior Project Advisor works closely with Delivery teams to support customer technology deployments & projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget and according to the project plan scope. The Cloud Consulting Associate Project Manager will also help lead testing and production cutover activities.

Responsibilities

Holds project team accountable for leveraging the solution-led deployment approach as the standard for project delivery.

Assists Project Manager in creating and managing project deliverables, (e.g., Project Charter, Work Plan, Governance Model, Deliverable Acceptance, Ongoing Support Model, Test Plans, etc.). This includes making sure they align with project goals and client requirements.

Supports the Project Manager to manage project resources/team members and project budgets including through the hands-on use of internal project management processes, tools and databases.

Provides recommendations for a streamlined status reporting approach. Helps manage team status reports for Project Manager’s review.

Collaborates with subject matter experts to help define Global Design planning efforts.

Supports the development and management of the Cutover Plan. Ensures that activities are coordinated and sequenced properly.

Facilitates communication with and provides support to offshore teams and PMO Analysts on deliverable creation activities.

Coordinates team activities to foster collaboration and effective communication among team members to achieve project goals.

Supports and participates in frequent engagement with client project leadership, addresses concerns and provides regular updates.

Supports the Project Manager to control the project scope and track changes.

Supports the Project Manager to manage project RAID items. Proactively identifies issues and risks and helps to put resolution action plans and mitigation strategies in place.

Following Project Manager direction, coordinates, schedules and helps prepare for various project meetings and events, including scheduling, and logistics.

Participates in an initiative or committee team and assists with developing content to improve the operation of the business.

Participates in internal Oracle calls, webcasts, and events to better understand the strategic priorities of the company.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $70,600 to $141,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
