Our Clinical Services teams bring clinical and technical expertise to Hologic which is instrumental to our success as a first-class leader in medical technology. As a Clinical Service Specialist on this team, you will provide dedicated customer training across our product suite in the Breast & Skeletal Health division. This team is critical to our customer’s success and the correct and fast treatment of our patients.
What to Expect in this role:
Weekly travel required to customer sites for hands-on training, trade show support and site visits to critical customer accounts.
Provide lead instruction and mentoring to new hires while “in the field” performing customer training through our employee shadow program.
Training customer staff on new products or product updates including system and functionality.
Provide clinical instruction on: procedural standards for performing biopsy procedures and clinical instruction on DXA products and procedures as applicable.
Document applications training performance for all instruction provided to customer within one week of training completion.
Provide continued customer service through post-applications support.
Assist with Field Service and helpdesk training with product updates as applicable.
Ensure that all activities reflect the Quality Policy according to ISO Standards.
Provide educational lectures for continuing education.
Not everyone can be a Clinical Services Specialist, so what do we need from you?
Minimum 2 years clinical experience in breast imaging and/or DXA as a registered technologist.
Experience training and passion for helping others learn and retain information.
Knowledge of digital and stereotactic as applicable.
Knowledge of GE, Siemens and Toshiba as applicable.
Ability to travel within North America and international – Valid Driver’s License required and Valid passport preferred.
Must be able to multi-task and make decisions while working in a fast paced environment.
Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and written with customers and supporting departments.
Education:
ARRT Certification required
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program
Bachelor of Science degree is desirable, but not required.
Licenses/Certifications (RT)(R) preferred for DXA
Licenses/Certifications (RT)(R)(M) preferred for Mammography
Licenses/Certifications (RT)(R)(MR) preferred for MRI
Current compliance with Continuing Education Unit (CEU) requirements for specialties as appropriate.
Specialized Knowledge:
ARDMS registered sonographer experience a plus
DXA experience a plus
Stereo experience a plus
Additional Details:
100% travel required - Domestic travel to customer locations weekly by automobile and/or airplane (may include occasional evening/weekend travel and extended periods of time out of the country).
International travel may also be required.
The annualized base salary range for this role is $71,000 to $111,000 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
The work environment is within a healthcare setting where the individual is occasionally exposed to the risk of radiation exposure and blood-borne pathogens. The clinical setting is a clean or sterile environment as required for surgical procedures.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
