The clinical research group within the Division of Genetics and Genomics is looking for an experienced coordinator to join our multidisciplinary research team.

The Clinical Research Specialist I will be responsible for:

  • Clinical research studies, including recruiting and enrolling study participants.

  • Assisting with the daily operations of a variety of rare disease clinical trials, focusing on gene therapy, including scheduling and running study visits, entering data, invoicing and assisting with IRB submissions and regulatory binder maintenance.

  • Maintaining research study documentation.

  • Completing Case Study Report Forms.

  • Assisting Principal Investigator and/or research team members in study procedures.

  • Conducting data collection activities and prepares analytical reports regarding results of studies.

  • Participating in writing articles and summary papers for various publications.

To qualify, you must have:

  • The knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree, and a minimum three years of relevant work experience or a Masters of Science and one year of relevant work experience.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as attention to detail.

  • Be able to provide at least a 2 year commitment.
