Delaware North Sportservice is hiring for a full-time Catering Sales Coordinator to join our team at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. What will you do?
Respond to inquiries and providing information about catering services
Meet with potential clients to understand their event needs and budget
Prepare and sending proposals, contracts, and event orders
Follow up with clients to confirm details and close sales
Maintain strong relationships with repeat clients and generating new business
Coordinate menu selections, event logistics, and special requests with clients
Communicate event details to the culinary and service teams
Ensure all events comply with company policies, health regulations, and client expectations
Assist in scheduling and staffing for catered events
Manage bookings, contracts, and deposits
Keeping track of event costs and ensuring billing accuracy
Update and maintain customer databases and sales records
Prepare reports on sales performance and event feedback
Act as liaison with vendors, venues, and other service providers
Ensure seamless coordination between sales, kitchen, and service teams
Troubleshoot any last-minute issues that arise during events
Other duties as assigned by management
More about you
Must be at least 18 years old
Minimum of 1 year of sales, administrative, or coordinator experience required
Ability to work event hours including some holidays, weekends, and evenings
Proficient with Microsoft Office Products including Word and Excel
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Physical requirements
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time and occasionally bend, stoop, reach, and kneel
