8+ month contract

We are seeking a dynamic Business Analyst to join our team, focusing on our accounting software applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating current business processes, identifying improvements, and ensuring a seamless experience for internal users.

Key Responsibilities:

· Act as a liaison between internal users and the IT team, effectively communicating user needs and technical limitations.

· Act as a skilled liaison between engineering teams and business stakeholders to extract, gather, analyze, document, communicate, and validate requirements to bridge the gap between technical feasibility and business objectives.

· Gather and document requirements for system enhancements, translating business needs into technical specifications.

· Lead user requirement gathering and responding promptly to user requests.

· Develop and maintain clear and concise business requirement documents.

· Analyze and improve business processes through technology solutions, aiming to reduce manual tasks and enhance user experience.

· Participate in the design, testing, and implementation of software updates and new features.

· Ensure quality, reliability, and completeness of the services deployed through thorough testing.

· Provide ad hoc and project-based reporting, queries, and analysis as required.

· Balance multiple initiatives and projects, maintaining high-quality standards and meeting implementation deadlines.

· Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices, suggesting improvements for business operations.

· Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills. Convey complex product details effortlessly to diverse audiences, fostering clarity and understanding.

· Display a keen eye for detail, strategically applying it where necessary to ensure precision and accuracy in all endeavors.

· Embrace a critical thinking mindset, unafraid to pose questions and explore uncertain answers, driving continuous improvement and innovation.

· Demonstrate proactive problem-solving abilities, capable of independently identifying and resolving challenges.

Exhibit curiosity, share solutions and insights collaboratively to benefit the team.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with experience in accounting or financial software or a related field.

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on providing practical business solutions.

· Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical issues to a non-technical audience.

· Experience with JIRA, Confluence.

· Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

· Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
