Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians Bariatrician / Obesity Medical Director in Boston, Massachusetts
The MBSAQIP Accredited Comprehensive Center at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC)/ Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) is seeking an Obesity Medicine Director (OMD) for the Comprehensive Medical Weight Loss Program. The physician will hold clinical privileges at BIDMC and its network hospitals and will hold an academic appointment in the Department of Medicine. The director must be a physician who actively practices in the field of obesity medicine and who will treat patients with medical pharmacology and oversee the pre-operative assessment of patients considering surgical weight loss in the Bariatric Surgery Program. Applicants must be board-certified in obesity medicine and offer advanced clinical experience in the comprehensive multidisciplinary management of obesity. The successful candidate for this position may be considered for Harvard Medical School appointment at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor or Associate Professor commensurate with experience, training and achievement in the field.

Successful completion of an accredited residency program.
Board certified/eligible in American Board of Obesity Medicine.
Eligible for a full Massachusetts medical license.
Federal DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substance registration.
