System One Animal Technician in Boston, Massachusetts

Title: Animal Technician

Location: Boston, MA

Schedule: Mon-Fri; 7am-3:30pm

Type: Temporary to Hire

Start date: 6/7/21

Our client in Boston, MA is looking for an Animal Technician to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform animal husbandry tasks

  • Provide research support services

  • Will provide food and water to animals

  • Evaluate animal’s health and assess animals for behavioral problems

  • Provide facility maintenance and sanitation

    Requirements:

  • Minimum of High School Diploma

  • 1+ yrs. animal husbandry/care experience preferred

  • Experience in a research animal care facility

  • Exp. with care of Animals (mice and rates)

  • Minimal animal handling
