System One Animal Technician in Boston, Massachusetts

Title: Animal Technician

Schedule: M-F 7:00am to 3:30pm

Start: ASAP

Location: Boston MA (onsite daily)

Terms: 6 month contract to hire

"MUST HAVES":

  • Minimum of High School Diploma

  • Experience with care of Animals (mice and rats)

  • Minimal animal handling

  • Willing to consider recent graduates who want to work with animals and in a lab setting!!

    “Nice to Haves”:

  • 1+ yrs. animal husbandry/care experience

  • Experience in a research animal care facility

    Main Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Perform animal husbandry tasks

  • Provide research support services

  • Will provide food and water to animals

  • Evaluate animal’s health and assess animals for behavioral problems

  • Provide facility maintenance and sanitation
