How will you make an impact in this role?

The Business Analyst will be part of the Merchant Services U.S. Quality & Oversight team. MS –U.S. Quality & Oversight engages across all client-facing organizations within MS - U.S., including Client Management, Partner Management, Merchant Acquisition and Marketing. This is a newly created team in the business, designed to play a pivotal role in shaping our strong risk management culture and to define our strategy and compliance efforts for the U.S. This position will deliver business analytics support as we monitor and assess robust processes and procedures and lead the design and implementation of initiatives to ensure the business is effectively managed in accordance with risk appetite, as well as mitigate new risks as they arise, in accordance with the company’s risk framework and policy.

The role will provide an opportunity for the Business Analyst to learn the Global Merchant & Network Services business, gain experience working as part of a global organization, drive and lead key projects, as well as gain deep industry insight into some of the most strategic segments of the merchant business and how they are appropriately driving quality and consistency while controlling operational risk. Through project management, process review and uplifts, and more the Business Analyst will collaborate across the business unit in support of Quality & Oversights goals, ensuring the business is effectively positioned to identify, remediate, and reduce risk.

Responsibilities:

  • Research, analyze and prepare data and insights for analysis and Quality & Oversight strategy development.

  • Analyze business data and generate insights relating to operational risk issues and events, key performance indicators, customer relationship management systems, etc.

  • Lead and/or participate on projects in support of compliance and regulatory requirements

  • Create reporting (regular and ad hoc) and recaps to be shared with leadership

  • Play an active role, contributing ideas and recommendations to help drive process improvements

  • Share and leverage best practices across the team, broader Quality & Oversight functions and more

Qualifications:

  • Proven decision making and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinker; able to be agile and move projects forward to drive results

  • Excellent organization and project management skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at various stages simultaneously and with agility.

  • Demonstrated collaboration skills, able to drive results working across multiple partners at various levels throughout the organization.

  • Ability to work cohesively with senior leaders and peers

  • Proven ability to learn business systems, including reporting and CRM tools.

  • Advanced PowerPoint, Excel, Salesforce skills. Visio, Archer, Power BI, Power Apps, Project and/or Planner recommended

  • 2 years of similar work experience.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

Qualifications

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually bonus benefits
