The MENTOR Network Behavior Technician in Billerica, Massachusetts

Massachusetts MENTOR, a partner of The MENTOR Network, provides quality, community-based services to youth and adults. Through our programs we offer a wide range of individualized therapeutic programs; Therapeutic Foster Care and Behavioral Health Services, to serve youth with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges as well as their families.

Behavioral Technician Responsible for implementing behavior-analytic services for assigned clients (including outreach visits) as amember of the Autism Services team ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provide outreach services to children and families Consult with team members to implement individualized services for assigned clients Conduct visits with clients and relevant collaterals in natural environments according to the needs of the child and family Maintain client records completely and accurately to include: Documentation of client progress in the program) Records of required contact with collaterals and family members Documentation of forms and regulations regarding intake and discharge of clients Complete billing documentation according to schedule established by the clinic Adhere to professional standards and guidelines according to respective disciplines and relevant certification Maintain daily contact with program during normal business hours Keep supervisor informed of progress of all clients Meet performance expectations based on part time or full time status, as designated Adhere to provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 119, Section 51A (Mandated Reporter); report all occurrences immediately to the programdirector Adhere to clinical recommendations from clinical administration Maintain confidentiality in all clinical matters Participate in team meetings, supervision and in-service training as required Participate in program development and team goals Other duties as required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma

  • Preferred experience in related field

  • Current CPR/First Aid Certification as required

  • Exceptional communication skills with an ability to establish trust and rapport quickly

  • A good listener with an ability to empathize while still providing guidance
