Job Description:

Welcome to Beverly Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health. Beverly Hospital is a full service, community hospital providing leading-edge, patient-centered care to North Shore and Cape Ann residents.

Come join our J5 team, and work on a combined adult and pediatric medical surgical unit. Our nurses have been the recipients of many Daisy awards including the Team Daisy Award. We have an established unit practice council and have a dedicated Clinical Nursing Educator. J5 is a 26-bed adult medical/surgical unit combined with a thirteen-bed pediatric unit. The pediatric area specializes in the delivery of comprehensive medical and surgical care of the pediatric patient from neonate to 18 years of age.

Pediatrics is affiliated with Boston Children’s Hospital and is supported by Boston Children’s physicians.

The orientation period is specific to the orientee and the unit in which you are working. The average medical surgical orientation is approximately a 12- week residency program. Preceptors will be assigned to you for the duration of your orientation. The clinical educator who supports your unit will remain with you through your orientation period and beyond.

Qualifications:

BSN preferred

• Must have completed all clinical rotations and be eligible to take the nurse registration

• RN MA license In order to being the Residency required

• American Heart Association – Basic Life Support Certificate
