Job Description:

Lead Gen Radiology Tech

Position Summary:

To assist Administrative Director and Site Manager in the day to day operations of the Radiology Department. Assists with administrative tasks relating to personnel, fiscal responsibilities and quality assurance. Maintains and ensures hospital safety guidelines are followed. Demonstrates initiative and timely follow through on all work assignments. Assumes full responsibility for quality of own work . Assists with Patient care as needed. Must be able to communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and the public and be capable of establishing good working relationships with both internal and external customers.

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent

Successful completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program

A minimum of 5 years experience with two years of progressive responsibility preferred.

Certification/License:

American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT); renewed annually.

Massachusetts State License; renewed bi-annually.

BLS certified renewed bi-annually.

Patient Age Served: Provides direct patient care to:
