Barnstable County Bathing Beach Sampler/Analyst (Seasonal) in Barnstable, Massachusetts
Barnstable County is seeking full time Bathing Beach Samplers/ Analysts to assist environmental laboratory staff in the collection analysis and results reporting for bathing beach water samples of municipalities during the summer season. High school diploma required; two years of college level coursework in environmental public health or related field preferred. Valid Motor Vehicle Operator\'s License required. Ability to swim and to collect beach water samples alone under varying climatic and physical conditions. Knowledge of ability to learn Commonwealth of Massachusetts Beach Regulations and laboratory procedures required for analysis. Applicants must be available to work the entire duration of the summer season from May 27, 2025, through August 29, 2025.
