Job Requirements

Minimum Education

  • B.S. degree in Nursing
  • Masters Degree preferred
  • Successful completion of Basic Coronary Care Course

Minimum Work Experience

  • Minimum of five (5) years of hospital clinical experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of Supervisory experience in a hospital setting

Required Licenses

  • Current MA RN licensure
  • Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support

Required Skills

  • Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong written and verbal skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Appropriate telephone communication skills.

  • Intervenes on patient / staff behalf.
  • Supports patients’ rights.
  • Supports other departments to meet patient needs.
  • Maintains operations of other departments during non-operating hours.
  • Functions as an administrative resource for other departments during non-operative hours.
