We\'re hiring a 2nd Shift Children\'s Residential Counselor on a full-time, part-time, or per diem basis. With flexible scheduling, you can work the best hours for your needs while still making a critical impact on our organization! We are pleased to offer you a sign-on bonus of up to \$2,650. Your sign-on bonus will be paid in two increments. Bonuses are prorated for regular scheduled shifts of less than 40 hours. A mandatory 6 days of training is required with a schedule of Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm plus the following Monday 9:00 am - 4:30 pm. You earn \$18.50 - \$21.50/hour depending on experience and education. But that\'s not all! you can also earn shift differentials (Second shift Monday - Friday: \$2.00 per hour, all Shifts Saturday and Sunday: \$3.00 per hour). This position works a schedule of 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm and works every other weekend as part of the bi-weekly schedule. As our 2nd Shift Children\'s Residential Counselor, you engage with our young students and assist them in developing valuable life skills. With an empathetic and respectful attitude, you assist students in areas like cooking, household chores, personal hygiene, and fostering friendships. You promote healthy life choices, model appropriate behaviors, and encourage independence wherever possible. You\'re a role model and mentor who helps our students live fulfilling, happy lives! Here\'s what we need from our entry-level 2nd Shift Children\'s Residential Counselor: 18+ years of age Must have a valid driver\'s license Capable of remaining awake during an overnight shift to ensure the safety and well-being of students Able to work holidays and weekend shifts as required Able to perform activities of daily living Able to perform physical interventions as necessary to provide the safest environment for our students Experience isn\'t required for this entry-level position, but caregiving knowledge would be preferred! A high school degree or equivalent would be a bonus.
