Posting Title: Production Planning Lead

Raytheon Sensors Logistics has a need for a Production Planning Lead.

The successful candidate has a strong knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems in a manufacturing environment and utilizes data-driven decision making to prioritize and schedule work through the shared service areas in the correct batting order.

This role requires daily collaboration across a variety of functional and program areas through data analysis, and fact-based influence to maintain organizational goals and objectives. The individual in this role will need to quickly develop credibility and trust, working with Operations Logistics Management, Production Control, Packaging Engineering and Quality to align the operations execution plan with critical customer deadlines, supply chain strategies, and financial targets.

What You Will Do

• Pull End Item MRP data and communicate data to all value streams monthly

• Hold weekly meetings with Production Control Leads and Logistics to ensure monthly metrics are being met.

• Make daily updates to notes on WIP status, unreleased work, quality issues and identify action items.

• Meet with Program Managers weekly to address rescheduling needs and releasing work to Logistics.

• Generate and present End Item MRP information to multiple levels of leadership

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires university degree or equivalent experience and 8 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience.

• Experience in Operations/Planning/Scheduling/Production Control/Supply Chain/Manufacturing/ Project Management and/or Finance

• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience in Material and Inventory Control-type systems such as Kanban, SMI, Continuous Flow Manufacturing

• Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts

• Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook/Skype)

• Self-starter who requires minimal supervision, works well with teammates and customers, and has a results-based mindset and proven track record of success

• Work across business areas and interface at all levels of organization

• Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure

• Must be a well-organized professional

• MRP knowledge (SAP PRISM experience preferred)

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
