Job Summary

Raytheon’s Land and Air Defense Strategic Business Unit is seeking an Operations and Supply Chain Director to lead the Global Patriot Ground Portfolio. You will report directly to the Global Patriot OSC Sr Director and will be responsible for leading a team of 36 Operations and Supply Chain professionals focused on delivering PATRIOT to 19 ally countries that depend on the system to protect their citizens, infrastructure and sovereignty.

In this critical role, you will provide leadership and motivation to a large and diverse organization focused on the mission. You will be responsible for the Radar and BMC4I product lifecycle from proposal, through execution and in sustainment. The complexity of this effort is substantial as it includes a multitude of products; Patriot Radar Set (RS), Engagement Control Station (ECS), Information Coordination Central (ICC), Support Equipment, Launchers, Antenna Mast Group (AMG), Power and the complex software that makes Patriot the world's most advanced Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) system with each country requiring its own configuration. This is a highly complex role and will require a leader that can both think strategically while also executing tactically.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead strategic initiatives and collaborate with cross functional teams to achieve team / company goals in order to meet / exceed improvement targets.

  • Develop talent effectively through performance and career development discussions.

  • Lead by example and create a culture of trust, respect, accountability, speed, collaboration, and innovation.

  • Provide high-quality, on-time communication and coordination with leadership across OSC and the PATRIOT Product Line.

  • Develop workforce plans and forecasts, employee training, capital plans, control direct and indirect expenses, and ensure the enforcement of company policies and procedures.

  • Ownership and signatory responsibility for EAC (Estimate at Completion) containing Supply Chain and Operations budgets.

  • Evaluate and generate risks and opportunities in alignment with programs and functions.

  • Capable of multi-tasking, motivating a team of employees, prioritizing, and implementing complex operations and supply chain strategies.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years experience

  • Experience using manufacturing or enterprise planning tools, including MRP (Kinaxis/ SAP and/or PRISM).

  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Master’s degree in Business, Management, Supply Chain, Operations, or a similar field.

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to assign appropriate priorities to many tasks.

  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS) , an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 176,000 USD - 352,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
