Raytheon is looking for an experienced Procurement Lead to join its exciting and growing Non-Product Test Equipment and Machinery Commodity.

What You Will Do:

  • In this role, you will be responsible for the success of major subcontracts and a procurement team. You will participate in gate reviews, proposal efforts, as well as facilitate relationships across organizations and suppliers. You will ensure all subcontracts and purchase orders are fully compliant to policies/procedures and to Federal Acquisition Regulations.

  • You will also procure and perform supplier management functions in support of Commercial and U.S. Government subcontracts. Administer and care for high dollar FFP/Cost Type major subcontracts from $100K to in excess of $50M in value.

  • Develop both tactical and strategic aspects of supplier relationships.

  • Monitor and manage supplier deliveries.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Integrated Product Teams (IPT), Engineering, Production Control, Operations and Material Program Managers, and Program Office.

  • Develop innovative solutions to complex problems requiring a high degree of ingenuity and creativity.

  • Conduct risk analysis to identify supply chain risks, opportunities, potential impacts, and mitigation plans.

  • Lead multi-functional negotiation teams; Negotiation of price, delivery, payments and all contractual terms;

  • Purchase order Placement and maintenance, milestone monitoring and completion assessments.

  • Assist with training and provide mentorship to team members.

  • Communicate clearly, be proactive in a very fast paced environment, flexible, innovative, work with speed and agility yet be thorough, and facilitate tasks to completion.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, asonly U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

  • Travel as required

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Requires significant knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects, and tactics within the procurement work area.

  • Requires broad knowledge and skills in procurement and contracting with an understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.

  • Demonstrated experience in working with cross-functional teams (Finance, Program Management, Engineering, etc).

  • Demonstrated experience in procurement activities and the management of internal customer and supplier relationships.

  • Demonstrated experience in the management of a geographically dispersed team and the ability to influence parties at an operational level to achieve objectives within a compliance framework.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
