Massachusetts Employer Automotive Technician in Andover, Massachusetts
OVERVIEW: This position will include opportunities to develop new skills and learn new automotive systems over time. This role is open to candidates with criminal records who are invested in putting the past behind them. DUTIES: The Automotive Technician is responsible for performing maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes, tire repairs, brake work, battery changes, and minor auto repairs to start. REQUIREMENTS: At least 1-2 years of experience working with motor vehicles or completion of a relevant trade school program. Dedicated to doing the job well, building skills, and investing in a stable position Driver\'s license (or at least a learner\'s permit with short term plans to get a license) Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, continuously stand, bend, reach, walk, sit and kneel frequently, enter, exit and drive vehicles Basic computer skills including typing, data entry, customer service software, and looking up data Customer oriented and consumer friendly Willing to learn new skills and systems
