Role Summary

The Associate Director, Operations Strategy Integration will be a key part of the Ops Strategy team focusing on developing operations strategies and turning opportunities into executable projects. The leader will work with stakeholders across the operations and supply chain organization to develop strategies, support specific initiatives, provide input on long term planning and work to align all strategic efforts to our common goals and objectives.

The leader will ensure that there are clear action plans to drive efforts and work toward achieving our strategic vision. Developing and defining strategic roadmaps associated with operations and leveraging enterprise-scale data and systems and translating into opportunities is a critical part of the role. The leader will align and influence other leaders within and outside the Operations & Supply Chain function, including Engineering, Finance, Strategic Business Units, etc., including presentation to functional leaders. This is a key strategy influence role, where the individual will be helping guide the development of strategies, the messaging of priorities, closing actions and achieving results.

What You Will Do:

  • Engage with the Operations Strategy Development & Capital Team and across Operations Strategy and the OSC organization to define and align on critical priorities and initiatives.

  • Understand and define operations current state and use a combination of data analytics and qualitative methods to develop a prioritized set of opportunities and associated defined initiatives to impact operations strategic objectives.

  • Identify, develop and execute specific opportunities to optimize our manufacturing operations, scope projects and develop action plans to drive them to closure.

  • Assist other team members in developing and driving the best approaches to enable the business

  • Collaborate across the function to identify key discriminators and create metrics to track progress against them.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

  • Experience in the aerospace or defense industry, particularly within a multi-factory environment.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain or Finance.

  • Experience on a strategy team developing and executing effective strategies.

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
