Key Responsibilities: To assist health care providers in the provision of quality care at every patient visit and telephone interaction. Perform pre-visit planning in preparation of patient appointment Prepare patient for appointment using rooming criteria Make patient call backs per provider request and standing protocols Maintain medical supplies -and prepare restocking list as needed. Clean and restock exam rooms Sterilize and clean equipment as needed, clean sterilizer, and maintain usage log and test strip Set up surgical trays and GYN trays Assist providers with IUD placement and removal and other minor procedures if needed Prepare prescriptions for provider using company protocols General knowledge and performance of in-house procedures; including but not limited to pregnancy tests, hemoglobin, rapid strep, rapid flu, glucose, rapid covid tests, HgA1c Qualifications (skills & experience): Required: Ability to work on and with a team. Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program Preferred: Knowledge and use of electronic medical records. Minimum of 0-1 yr experience of medical assisting in a doctor\'s office setting. CMA/RMA/CCMA accreditation.
